When I was a kid my Dad had a full time job, but he did have a side business. He called it “His Money Machine”. It would conjure up all kinds of images of Jack in the Box like devices you cranked and dollar bills would come out of it. That always intrigued me. I thought about it a lot. It seemed to me, that my Dad was wasting his time with his job, I never got to see him.
“If that money machine of his would crank out money when he worked it”, I thought, “Then why in the world didn’t he spend more time cranking his money machine then working at his job?”. I would ask myself in deep thought. “Because if he did that”, I pondered, “We could spend more time together”.
The whole concept of the Money Machine is sound. I have built many of them and continue to build more as we speak. Some make a lot of money while others make a little. But it all ads up, and guess what the best part is? I get to spend a lot of time with my children. And that has made a world of difference to them, for they are healthy, solid and sound and well adjusted children and prepared for the wicked ways of this world. And their quest is to build their own Money Machines. In fact at their tender ages of 18 and 20 they both have Money Machines already!
